The Japanese Knotweed is a persistent, invasive plant that can cause significant damage to infrastructure, nature, and properties. Once present, it is particularly difficult to remove. Excavation is currently the most effective and efficient method to tackle this rampant plant.

Top-Mix Recycling specializes in the processing of soils contaminated with Japanese Knotweed. In our advanced washing facility, we clean the soils physico-chemically, fully in accordance with the guidelines of the Soil Bank (Soil Bank/Japanese Knotweed). During this process, plants, roots, and plant residues are carefully separated from sand and stones.
The removed plant residues are destroyed in an incinerator, ensuring that further spread is completely ruled out. The cleaned sand fraction undergoes strict quality controls and is then reused as a raw material in concrete products and other construction projects.
