The market square in Zeebrugge has received a fresh makeover. With expertise in exposed aggregate concrete, Top-Mix has contributed to a beautiful surface that is not only durable but also striking.

Exposed aggregate concrete, enriched with Taunus quartz and a yellow dye, offers a unique and vibrant appearance. This technique involves mixing concrete with Taunus quartz and dye at the concrete plant. This mixture is then transported to the construction site in question and poured on-site. To achieve the characteristic texture, the surface is sprayed with a surface retarder to slow down the bonding there. This later provides the opportunity to remove the mortar layer on the surface. In total, 386m³ of exposed aggregate concrete was delivered to our customer and partner Sico Aannemingen.
