At the beginning of April 2024, we started demolition work at the former Lammens chicken slaughterhouse, a project that is now in the final stages. On behalf of Global Estate, we completely demolished the existing factory buildings and office spaces.
The roof of the buildings contained asbestos-cement corrugated sheets, which we removed carefully and according to the applicable standards. Additionally, we removed and recycled large quantities of sandwich panels. The concrete floors and foundations were also broken up and removed, resulting in a fully construction-ready site for future developments.
