Speaking of a project of high caliber. At the Central Park site in Ostend, D'hoore Construct is building towering apartment buildings with views of the sea and the city skyline. “A piece of New York in Ostend,” they say. Besides the buildings, you see Verhelst Machines' tower cranes shining. Two of them, those around the Central Park Tower, were anchored and elevated last month - just in time for Open Construction Day. It provided an impressive sight!

The Central Park Tower on the Oosteroever will have no less than 22 floors. And to build that high, you naturally need tall tower cranes. Our specialty! With an LTM1500-8.1 mobile crane with guying and a 77-meter luffing jib, we reach a height of 122 meters: not a luxury for such jobs.

First, we anchored both tower cranes on the 13th and 14th floors of the Central Park Tower. Then the Wolff 7032.12 was raised by 36 meters to 104.6 meters under hook, followed by the Wolff 7534.16, which was increased by 31.5 meters to 97.5 meters under hook. Everything was just in time for Open Construction Day.
