For the construction of the new CHwapi hospital in Tournai, Verhelst Machines delivered two Geda 2500 ZZP construction hoists. This hospital project, which centralizes all activities on one site, requires efficient and safe solutions on the construction site.
The Geda 2500 ZZP hoists, with a load capacity of 2,500 kg and mounted at a height of 22 meters, ensure the smooth and safe transport of both people and materials to the various floors. This contributes to an efficient progress of the works and enhances safety on the site.
A particular challenge in this project was the irregular exterior of the building. As a result, a standard anchoring of the hoists was not possible. With a customized solution and close consultation on the site, the hoists could still be placed safely and stably.
